Make Your Own Journal

Happy New Year! I finally did it! I made my own journal and I love it! I used a Sizzix Die for for this one, but in hind sight, I wouldn’t waste the money. It is such a basic die and you can figure it out easy enough. Here it is:

Isn’t it beautiful? This is my inspiration project for More Mixed Media. This month the optional color is blue.

A Little Bit About More Mixed Media

More mixed media is a monthly challenge blog. They have a color of the month which is optional but I do love joining in the fun! This month is “blue”. They go live on the 5th of each month and you can win some digi papers! You can enter as many times as you like and you can also enter the same artwork in other monthly challenges!

How I Made the Journal

I plan on making my art journals and my writing journals from now on. I think I am going to make a travelers journal next; something easy to carry around with a beautiful soft cover. Maybe I should make an 11″ x 14″ journal filled with watercolor paper. That would be awesome! The possibilities are endless.
