Encaustic Collage

Encaustic collage

I recently enrolled in an online class by Kasia Avery over at Every Thing Art. The course was on Encaustic Collage and Image Transfer. Not only was this class awesome, but it was also totally free! Kasia explained the basics of encaustic art so well making it seem like something anyone can do. I dug out my encaustic art kit I had bought years ago and gave it a try. The result? A fabulous collage!

This piece is the inspiration for all of you that want to make your own mixed media masterpiece and enter it into the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge. You can find Kasia’s free course here. You won’t be disappointed!

A Little Bit About The Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge

The Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge Blog offers a monthly challenge for mixed media artists. The theme is anything goes, but you must always use more than one media. Their rules can be found here. It’s a great way to show your work and meet other artists. Have a look at the blog. They do have prizes!

Now it’s your turn to add your artwork to the Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge. You can add up to three pieces in each monthly challenge for a chance to win a prize.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you feel inspired!

Happy Crafting,
Suzette
