I have been working through my Life Book 2020 lessons and really loved this particular lesson by Toni Burt. She made an air dry clay pot and took it one step further embellishing it with beads and wires. The result? Fabulous!
In the lesson, the clay that was used behaves like ceramic clay. I, of course, used Creative Paperclay® and love my results, no cracking at all! I rolled out the clay and draped it over a jar that I had covered with cling wrap. I stamped the word “Faith” made some holes and left it to dry. I then stained it and added wire and beads. The wire was too shiny so to keep in with the rustic look of the clay pot I used Art Anthology’s Rust Set to make my wires look aged. I love the result!
