A Teddy Bear Tag

Are you getting ready for Christmas making tags and cards? I sure am! Look  at this cute tag I made for the Crafty Catz weekly challenge. I used a sponsor image by Crafty Sentiments. The theme this week is “Must Have a Sentiment”. Visit Crafty Catz and join in the fun!

Follow along to see how I made this tag. I only used a few simple supplies.

  • a tag
  • gesso
  • green water soluble crayon. I used a Gelato.
  • matte medium/glue/Mod Podge
  • glitter
  • stamp and stamp pad
  • cardstock
  • digital image
  • markers or colored pencils.
  • ribbon
I scribbled on the tag with a green Gelato and then blended it with gesso.
Apply more of the green Gelato to the edges and blend with your finger. Stamp your sentiment on cardstock and cut out. Apply ink to the edges. This helps it stand out on the page. Glue your sentiment in place.

Paint your tag with matte medium, glue or Mod Podge. Sprinkle with glitter.
Shake off the excess glitter.

Print, cut out and color your image. I used alcohol markers.
Glue you image in place.

Add your ribbon.

That’s it! Wasn’t that simple? Have fun making your own and don’t forget to check out the this weeks challenge at Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge.

Until next time, happy crafting!
